[font=Comic Sans Ms]أعلن موقع نادي آرسنال الإنكليزي خروج المهاجم إيدواردو دا سيلفا من المستشفى بعد التعافي من علمية جراحيّة خضع لها بسبب كسر في قدمه تعرّض له خلال مباراة ناديه أمام نادي بيرمينغهام الإنكليزي .

المهاجم الكرواتي خرج من العناية للمرّة الأولى منذ إعتراض مارتن تايلور عليه خلال المباراة التي إنتهت بنتيجة 2-2 .

كان إيدواردو قد تعرّض للإصابة في الدقيقة الثانية من زمن المباراة التي أقيمت على ملعب ستريت آندروز , وقد نقل مباشرة إلى مستشفى سيلي أوك لإجراء عمليّة جراحيّة طارئة , قبل أن يُرسل إلى لندن للعناية .

ويُعتقد أن يغيب لمدة تسعة أشهر عن الملاعب وسيغيب بالتأكيد عن بطولة كأس أمم أوروبا 2008 مع منتخب بلاده كرواتيا .
